Mr. Richards serves as the GIS Mapping Specialist for Fremantle Energy, bringing with him 10 years of professional experience in the areas of mapping and spatial analysis. During his career, he has applied GIS to studies in a diverse range of fields, which include archaeology, economics and the natural resources. He has a background in renewable energy as well, having worked for U.K. Trade & Investment promoting trade links between the U.K. and U.S. Before coming to Fremantle Energy , Mr. Richards headed up the GIS operations for Thornhill Group, a major Austin-area hydrogeological consulting firm.

In his spare time, Mr. Richards teaches courses in GIS and spatial analysis at Temple College, where he is a member of the Adjunct Faculty. He holds a Master of Arts in Archaeology from the University of Leicester and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from California State University, Northridge.
